ICAR is the main European event dedicated to Catastrophic Risk Management. ICAR editions are organized, traditionally, with the official support of the World Bank, Ministry of Internal Affairs and other relevant authorities, as well as leading international insurance reinsurance players. ICAR represents a platform for discussions about using the insurance system as an instrument to prevent and combat the effects of natural catastrophes on different activity sectors.
